Setting up an Auto Responder
Drip Marketing is a series of predefined emails that an agent has configured to send to a certain subset Leads within their account at a frequency of their liking. Each 'Drip' the Lead receives is unique in content and marketing plan. Drip Marketing Campaigns are defined in TWO STEPS; Email Template (Content) and Marketing Plan. We recommend using Drip Marketing for DATE TRIGGERED marketing plans like Birthdate, Renewal Date, Effective Date, Turning 65 and using Automated Workflows for all other marketing plans. Setting up Email Template: From the Drips Tab, click on Add Template Link.
Template Name - Give this Template a name that is unique and will tell the purpose or intention of the copy within this email such as; Auto Responder, Welcome Email, Follow Up Email, etc.
Email Subject Line - As in any other email, give this one a Subject Line
From Name - This can be your name, agency name or you can use the #agentName# and the system will auto populate the agent's name that the Lead is assigned to when the email is sent. This is a great feature for those with multi-user accounts whom have multiple agents using the drips.
From Name - This can be your email, agency main email address or you can use the #agentEmail# and the system will auto populate the agent's email address that the Lead is assigned to when the email is sent. This is a great feature for those with multi-user accounts whom have multiple agents using the drips. Also, if you have to change your email address at any point, you can do it in Account> My Info and if you used #AgentEmail#, you won't have to update every template! The personalization 'snippet' option is a huge time saver for many reasons.
Bcc Address - Insert any email address where a copy of the drip email that is sent can go to for record keeping.
WYSIWYG Editor (What You See Is What You Get) - This editor has similar features to Word, allows you manipulate the copy with Fonts, Colors, Hyper-Links, Images, Etc.
Snippets - Small bits of code that when used will populate with specific information once the email is sent. A good example would be #Name# in your template and once the email is sent to John Doe, Radius will automatically put John Doe in the email once it is sent out.
Email Templates are unlimited, so create as many as you wish or need to have access to.
EMail Template Visual Aid
Once you have configured the EMail Template, creating the Marketing Plan will allow for your Drips to activate. From the Drips Tab, click on Add Marketing Plan.
Marketing Plan Name - Give this marketing plan a unique name. In most cases it correlates to EMail Template you created for this Marketing Plan.
When Leads are Created - Chose One: All Leads, Leads with a Tag of, Leads with a Status of or Leads with a Temperature of. If you select any of the later three, you'll need to define the Tag, Status or Temperature.
Send After - Time based setting. Define how long a lead must be in your account before it can receive this drip. Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months or Years.
Using Template - Select the Email Template that goes with this Marketing Plan
Start On - Time based setting. Select the Date this Campaign should begin on.
Who? - If you have a multi-user account, you can have this Marketing Plan for just Leads assigned to you or All Leads.
Marketing Plans are unlimited, so create as many as you need.
